You'd be surprised at how much had gone on I had to catch up with, but also how little people actually told me. I think I was just one big surprise.

They're... Well, so can't say. I think they are organized in the most disorganized way, if that makes sense. They were doing their best.

I don't care about procedures, mostly, if the results are good enough.

The former Dean of the Academy would most certainly say that is a very fine and dangerous line to walk, I'm sure. And I would have agreed when I was his assistant.

But... having done some things in recent years...

I don't know. Sometimes, you have to push past the Academy ethos to find progress.

But again, it needs to be about results and efficiency. No unnecessary risks or sacrifice, or else it's just more wasteful than it is helpful.
