To help with this? Most of them have to do with sensing and controlling living minds, reading thoughts and scrying and such. Perhaps the anti-magic field could suppress it long enough to move into the housing? If it is arcane in any way, it should be rendered inert in the field.

He is facing the door. he has his forehead against it and his eyes closed. One hand is supporting himself on the door by his chest. The nails are painted. He is........asleep. Standing up.]

Support disappears from him, and he tips quickly forward at Lucien. The crutch darts ahead of him, tumbling over by Lucien inside the room. The feeling of falling startles him awake, but he's groggy, so all he can do is gasp as he tumbles directly into Lucien's front. OOF.
The skin of his face looks a lot better? It's dewy and soft...]
[ he weighs two grapes but lucien only really weighs like. four grapes, so he does kind of have to take a step back, but he can catch him before he goes face first onto the floor. the crutch can fall, that's fine, it will probably survive. ]

look, he's not one to judge anyone for sleep crimes but this doesn't seem like a situation coffee can help. he is not sidon-strong but he was able to lift beauregard by the neck to try and murder her, so I'd say it's reasonable to say he can wind his arms around his waist enough to lift viktor just off his feet to forcibly walk him back towards the bed. ]
Think you'd need a stronger upper than coffee at this point, and drugs are slightly difficult to get here.

[The smell is probably him. He is smelling really high. Like not weed high, but spa fragrance high. Like lavender, chamomile, and eucalyptus.]
[ lucien is more than used to close quarters and is hardly going to stop him from cuddling. he likes feeling wrapped up in this thing where he can let his guard down around viktor and just sort of enjoy it for what it is. they will probably all die next week so he would like to take his moments where he can. he is aware he is distracting from important science but this feels more important at the moment. besides if viktor tries right now there is a decent chance he blows them all up going asleep at the wheel.
and also he smells like a very fancy bathhouse right now and that is a nice thing. winding a hand under the back of his cardigan and t-shirt, so he can touch skin, kissing his jaw. ]

His skin is warm and soft, the kind of moisturizing which comes from soaking in a tub. Lucien's hand and kiss make him sigh, and he keeps his arms lazily twined around Lucien's shoulders.
The glove on his right hand is gone; there aren't really any actual nails on the purple hand, but they have been painted to match the other nonetheless. The iridescent lines woven into the strange flesh now shimmer occasionally with a rippling glow of current, like a heartbeat. He keeps both threaded in Lucien's hair, and Lucien can hear and feel in the back of his attuned mind, a primordial arcane hum. Not evil necessarily, but dark, a song from a void full of magical energy, distant.]
Oh. Yes. The spa. Sorry. Is it... too strong...? I can shower.
