anyway. his emotions are just...deeply heavy, for some reason, as he considers this. ]
...sure. I understand. When you're on a time limit and you know it, you sort of have to hurry as best as you can. Just in case. [ ... ] Is that why you wanted to rush the hex tech, too?
[ viktor, a man who wanted to see his inventions do something for the greater good before he died. is...that really it? ]
Is there a reason this mini him is just able to keep calling him out over and over?? He'd love to know!! His smile is tight again, not much of a real smile.]
...Yes. There is... just so much left for me to do.
[ i was gonna give you lore but now i'm scared and want a sunday thread because you mentioned it. so. wow! he does not seem at all offended nor surprised by the lack of real warmth or genuine feeling in the smile. ]
...if you had the time. What else would you work on changing?
[NOOOOOOOOOO MY LORE!!!!!!!! GRABS IT AS IT SLIPS THROUGH MY FINGERS LIKE GRAINS OF SAND. stop it's just an update with scien cr it's fine]
I don't know yet. I had been working on... the Hex Core. I had notes on... Well, the very scraps of notes on something not much different than Roboji. Something bigger.
A robot I could send into Zaun to help clean it up.
[ glances. yeah i want it and i promise you big lore pats you. ]
...that'd probably help a lot, wouldn't it? To try and make it better and cleaner so there was less of a divide between it and Piltover. It's hard to make a change or even start making a difference, but as long as there's the chance.
[ he's just thinking this over. ]
Scien told me the senior crew said we'd have access to a library eventually. If it's books from all over the galaxy, there has to be something to point in the right direction. Something you can't get from your own world. If we can take knowledge from this tour back and replicate it...
[i just continue to give lore instead of receive it]
It will... take a long time for any change. There may not even be any change. Zaun is extremely polluted. I won't ever know if it can even be cleaned enough to be a place for a good quality of life.
[He leans on the crutch under his arm.]
It is what I planned to do already. But... when I go back... Well, you know already. It might not make much of a difference.
And I'm telling you, if you don't have to exactly go back at that exact moment...maybe it's possible to accomplish something you still tried to do. [ ... ]

I suppose you're right.
[SMASHCUT TO THE NEXT DAY AAAAAAAAA]
I am just... very used to hurrying, I guess.

But ultimately it's still your choice, I guess.

I know. I'll think about it.

Don't wait too long to talk to Scien. I'm gonna go, too.
