anyway. she is just coming into the lounge from the part of the observation deck where the stars are a little more visible, and she's... well, she's trying to keep herself calm, but it isn't really working super well. frustration keeps leaking out, and then she gets more frustrated with herself for not being able to contain it.
but upon seeing viktor, there's a faint vibe of ! before she heads over.]
Yes, we definitely need to look into it. It does sound like we'll still be expected to continue on with this tour and make deliveries... which seems a little strange to me, considering the situation, but...
[she shakes her head.]
A life was lost. And Scien is locked up up until the tour is over and he's taken to... "galactic court," is what they said. Even if Nut & Bolt expects us to keep busy with making deliveries for them, we'll have to find the time to get to the bottom of all this. It doesn't feel right just leaving things as they are.
I suppose the fundamentals of ship craft still hold true even with large advancements in technology. Preparing the ship for movement, porting, anything must take resources and time. Though it is strange they wouldn't halt the work with a ship they know may be malfunctioning.
[YOU WERE ALL SO SUSPICIOUS OF ME AND FOR WHAT!!!]
Maybe they'll keep us docked when we land at our first planet, but... the way they were talking I sort of doubt it. You'd think they'd have mentioned it if so.
It should be extended until they can figure out what is happening to the ship, but if the company has a strict timetable, especially as a courier, then...
This can hardly be the company's only ship, can it? If they're so well-known across the universe, then they ought to be able to have another they can call in to keep to the schedule!
We should be able to focus on getting to the bottom of what's going on here, not stuck delivering things.

Mood though, girl.]
Yes?
[He sounds like he's trying to keep the unhinged pieces out of his voice.]

Are you alright? That was... a lot, earlier.

[How many of them are gonna say this when they are NOT alright???]
You can sit if you'd like.

but she nods and takes a seat.]
...it feels a little strange, just going back to the rest of the ship after all of that.

Yes... Now we have more questions than we really do answers.

But it's something we'll have to investigate.

[His sigh is quiet.]
We'll have to keep searching.

[He studies her for a moment.]
Neither will I.
