A merging of the arcane and technology. We built things to help make work and life easier for people. And the Hexgates, to make commerce better.

Yes. I helped my partner stabilize the hex crystals he had been working on. Once we did, it was easier to figure out how to utilize them to power pieces of machinery. Or teleportation towers, like the Hexgates.

Several years. Not as long as one would think. But Jayce had been working on the crystals for a long time.

Both. Zaun is across the river from Piltover, but much of Zaun is beneath Piltover, so they call it the Undercity.
...It's basically Piltover's dumping ground.

How much bigger is Zaun compared to Piltover?

Zaun is approximately a quarter or so bigger. Piltover's buildings reach for the sky standing on the back of Zaun.
The top promenade of Zaun mingles at the bottom of Piltover.
