As a slightly younger man, yes; my late teens and early twenties. [He sort of shrugs sheepishly.] It was... an Academy in Piltover. A lot of very prideful, arrogant people who had sponsors, or money.
But I enjoyed the studies. I enjoyed learning and creating with the tools they had available. And I didn't mind being the Dean's assistant really.

[A tight smile.]
I enjoyed building things because I could never play with the other children.

That you were able to take your hardships and let them fuel your passion is most admirable, Master Viktor.
[ thank you affection week... puts a hand in his shoulder ]
But I regret still that you had to endure them. Even if it is rather late, I hope the people here have made up for a fraction of that loneliness...

[ o: ]
You studied there based on your own merit?
no subject
I didn't have any of that, no. I was just a poor cripple from below. But I managed to convince the Dean to enroll me by my skills and my mind.
It was worth it to me.

[ he smiles ]
I am glad that you have brought that spirit here.

It's... nothing. I don't seem to be the only one either.

Indeed, it seems most here are hard at work at finding a solution for ourselves. [ blinks ] Though the nature of this place makes little sense to me.
