but also because viktor did not follow his singular instruction of holding his breath, the water does something a little different. they land with a giant splash, but before the wetness can totally submerge them, it forms into a sort of bubble, a shield, encasing them both in a large pocket of air.
the bubble will last for a hot second, so he takes the time to laugh breathlessly. ]
