and no, he is not so insane he would condone trying to raw dog the Core again. it seems that went very badly the first time and would probably go worse a second time? curing viktor's current body seems more difficult and complicated than making a new one, and leaves him with the problem of being bound to the core, but he won't pretend he doesn't have attachments. that said there's no part of him that wants him to be in pain.
