[ rude??? he's VERY holy???
oh... this guy. temenos caught an eye of him earlier - he's not castti, and he certainly doesn't have the medical necessity to help others, particularly without his healing abilities. but, it seems that he's doing better?
he glances at his device thing that he barely knows how to work, and looks through the profiles, a bit. ]
Getting the lay of the land, are we? [ hi. ]

[ yeah sorry about that also hi i'm your third roommate
there's a soft chuckle.]
Well, you're ahead of me, in that regard. I'd never even expected the airship.
[ temenos reaches over and pats the seat next to him. ] Come, take a load off for a while.

[ STOP NO
temenos has never heard of either a zeppelin or an airship, but he can put two and two together, at least for one of those things. he lifts his glass to viktor when he sits, and leans back. ]
I am no merchant. [ however he spends a lot of time with one, so. temenos looks thoughtful. ] And these zeppelins or airships likely didn't create themselves out of thin air, hm? People have transported goods as long as there have been goods to transport.
In Solistia, I suppose by ship or by caravan, would be the most common form. More recently, the steam locomotive has been introduced, so I suppose merchants will use that, as well.

[ we're like five comments into this thread and i think throne is going to eat this man alive.
temenos's mouth curls up into a smile. ]
I suppose you could say that, yes. [ that he likes it here, ] though, that is quite the odd thing to ask someone about being kidnapped, Viktor.

[ temenos is deeply enjoying this conversation. ]
Oh, is that what you meant? My apologies. [ YOU KNEW WHAT HE MEANT ] Yes, it is rather nice, if a bit stifling.
[ he leans forward a bit, propping his chin in his hand. he's smiling his nice holy smile but there's something so mischievous about it. ] And what about you?

[ by the everything! ]
Ah. [ right, he mentioned the hexgates before. traveling from place to place. ] Technology does march on, doesn't it... And here I thought Partitio and co were on the cutting edge.
[ oh to be a ye olde. there's a faint chuckle, though, and he picks up his drink, examining viktor thoughtfully. ] So, this situation of planetary travel is not so strange to you. Perhaps you'll give us all a primer.

[ :)?
lbx would love this guy, is my current opinion. temenos also thinks this is entertaining, which is unfortunate, but his curiosity is genuine. ]
The mathematics for theories of space travel. [ he repeats this phrase with a soft chuckle, shaking his head. god this is beyond him. this is not his type of nerdery. ] You most certainly are a scholar.

[ cute. this time when temenos smiles, it's much less teasing and bullying and more genuine. ]
Now that, I am glad to hear.
[ on both accounts, really. ]
All teasing aside, that's an excellent mindset to have. Providing false information merely gets you caught for lying, in the end, even with the best of intentions. But I expect you will learn what's correct and what isn't? At that point, I would, perhaps, enjoy to hear your take on the technology around us.
